Yes indeed! You will definitely increase your chances by responding to multiple shifts at once, even when they are planned at the same moment. In the case where you get accepted for one shift, the other shift within the same timeframe will automatically be cancelled.

Be aware: If there are more than 59 minutes in between the shifts you are applying for, you can be accepted for both of them.

For example:
You have applied for four different shifts for this Friday.

  1. Lunchroom McDuck from 08:00 - 16:00 (you get accepted to this shift)
  2. Brasserie Huey from 15:00 - 20:00 (this shift will get cancelled)
  3. Restaurant Dewey 16:00 - 00:00 (this shift will get cancelled)
  4. Hotel Louie 17:00 - 00:00 (this will remain an open application)

Because you’ve been accepted with Lunchroom McDuck, the rest of your overlapping applications get cancelled automatically.

The first application to go is the one with Brasserie Huey since this would start at 15:00 and you’re already working at McDuck til 16:00.

Next the application for Restaurant Dewey get called, this is due to the fact that the shift starts at exactly the same time as your other shift would end, which would mean you would never be able to make it in time. The platform automatically calculates an hour of travel time between different clients.

Your application for Hotel Louie will remain open. Your shift at McDuck ends at 16:00 which means that you have 1 hour to travel to the shift at Hotel Louie.

You’re dashboard will clearly show you which shifts have been automatically cancelled. Next to the past application it will say “cancelled by you”.
