Temper makes use of a rating system to give the clients insight into the qualities of a freelancer. After you’ve worked a shift, a client will give you a rating during the check-out. A rating van vary from 1 to 5 stars.

1 = bad, 2 = insufficient, 3 = reasonable, 4 = good, 5 = outstanding

Besides the rating the clients give, they also have the option to provide you with feedback, they are however, not obligated to do so.

I don’t agree with the rating they’ve given me
Only when you are sure that the client has made a mistake in the rating they’ve given you and only then, it is advisable to contact the client about this through an e-mail. In most cases Temper advises against contacting the client about your rating. The reason for this is that a client should feel free in giving the rating they deem suitable and when this feeling is taken away it does more harm to the rating system than good.

Be aware: The hourly pay and the required skill of a function can play a big role in the assessment and giving of a rating. Keep in mind that clients don’t always give out a 5 star rating and that only a rating of 1 or 2 stars is insufficient.
