As a FreeFlexer you are automatically insured in case of damages or accidents, and if you worked more than 10 shifts, you are also covered in case of long-term illness. All for free! In collaboration with insurance partner Alicia Benefits, you are automatically provided with an extensive safety net to fall back on when things get tough.

What are the insurance products you are getting?

Corporate Liability

Provides coverage if you accidentally cause damage to a person or belongings of the client during your shift. Do note that damage caused to motor verhicles is not covered. This insurance is active during all your Temper shifts. Read more about this insurance policy in this article.

Accident insurance

Provides financial support if you become permanently disabled. You will receive a one-time sum of money, and certain expenses (such as hospital stay or damage) will be reimbursed after an accident. This insurance is only active during your Temper shifts, not during your commute to or from them. Read more about this insurance here.

Disability (2 years)

Provides financial support if you are completely unable to work due to illness or an accident. The compensation runs until recovery with a maximum of 2 years. In addition, there is a (one-time) payment for bereavement leave and birth/adoption leave. This insurance is active if you have worked more than 10 shifts through the Temper platform. Read more about disability insurance here.

How does it work?

You will find an overview of all insurance policies on your Insurances page, which you can access through your profile menu. You can report claims here, but also upon check-out or on past shift pages found through your dashboard. Read more about how you can file a claim or report here.
