When will my application for a shift be accepted?

We ask the clients to accept the applications at least 24 hours in advance but you can be chosen even last-minute

Multiple FreeFlexers can respond to the same shift. The client is the one who picks out the best candidate(s) according to their experience and confirmed skills.

As soon as the client has made their choice, the status of your application will get updated on your dashboard. Is the status ‘hired’? Congratulations!

We ask the clients to accept FreeFlexers at least 24 hours in advance, but it’s good to be aware that if your application is open, you can be selected even shortly before the shift starts. Is your application still pending and the shift begins in less than a day? We recommend you to give the client a call to ask if they could have a look at your application. This way you know what to expect. You can also withdraw your open application. Thanks to this you know for sure that you won’t be accepted last-minute.

Please note: You’re responsible for keeping track of your applications directly on the platform. You may also receive a confirmation email and a push notification on your phone. Make sure your notification settings are set up correctly.
